Ladybird Room

Class overview

Our Ladybird room is based in our main building. There is a dedicated sleeping room, quiet area, messy area and snug (for pre walking babies to ensure their safety). The Ladybird Room has access to two enclosed gardens both with a mud kitchen and sand pit as well as outdoor classroom.

There is a wide range of activities available for the children which are mostly child-led. These activities include messy play, play dough, gloop, water, sand, painting, sticking and gluing as well as constructions, role play, puzzles, threading and more with an adult support so that the children are confident to explore new experiences in a safe environment to help build on their own individual learning.

The Ladybird room, in our main building, provides safe, child-led activities and outdoor play areas, all overseen by our caring staff.
